 NEC America to Distribute TelSoft's Software

Glendale, CA (June 14, 1995)--NEC America Corporate Networks Group (CNG) announced today the signing of an agreement with TelSoft Solutions, Inc. for the nationwide sale and distribution of TelSoft's call accounting software and hardware products with NEC's NEAX®2400 ICS and NEAX®2000 IVS voice servers and Electra Professional Key Telephone Systems (KTS).

"This agreement represents a significant expansion of NEC's recognized FUSION integration strategy and demonstrates the success of the FUSION strategic alliance program, which was created to deliver the integrated technology solutions customers are asking for today," said Bob Talty, vice president of marketing, NEC America Corporate Networks Group.

Call accounting systems monitor and track phone calls by recording, organizing and reporting information on incoming and outgoing calls. NEC will offer TelSoft's DOS and Windows 95™ versions of call accounting software to its large network of dealers and integrated resellers under NEC's new EmpowerWorX brand name. EmpowerWorX will include all computer telephony (CT) related applications that work with NEC's voice server platforms. TelSoft's software offers more than 100 different reports for managing telecommunication systems as well as polling modules that enable management to track telecommunications activities at locations throughout the country from a central location.

Included in the agreement is TelSoft's new MegaCall® software package. It offers high speed report processing and billing using an open architecture which enables it to integrate easily with other software applications running on the Universal Applications Processor of NEC's NEAX voice platforms.

MegaCall is currently in use to track telephone activity for Fortune 1000 corporations and to poll international locations for a Big 3 long distance carrier.

Prior to entering the agreement, NEC worked with TelSoft to certify the applications and ensure seamless integration with the NEAX and Electra Professional products.
