MegaSync is an optional module for the MegaWare suite of call accounting software that simplifies moves, adds,
and changes (MAC's) in a company's call accounting database by automatically synchronizing itself with other systems.
This module greatly increases the efficiency and accuracy of the call accounting database despite constant changes
to a company's phone system.
Single Point of Entry Interface
Most companies today experience nearly non-stop updates to employee station assignments, authorization and account
codes, cost centers, and divisions or departments. MegaSync greatly simplifies those changes by providing a Single
Point of Entry (SPOE) interface that will receive change requests from a variety of corporate sources.
This interface can receive MAC updates from any number of sources, such as phone switches, an LDAP Directory,
switch management systems, an HR database, and other systems. It extracts the necessary information from any of
these sources and automatically reconciles changes (station, authorization code, account code and trunk information)
to the master call accounting database, keeping it consistently up-to-date.
Eliminate Duplicate Data Entry
Database changes can be synchronized to occur on demand, or at user-defined intervals. Companies can eliminate
duplicate data entry, save administrative time, and eliminate discrepancies between databases, thus making the
company's call accounting system easier to manage and maintain.
Maintain a History of Changes
Another major benefit of MegaSync is that even when synchronizing with other systems, MegaSync has the built
in intelligence to accurately track stations, authorization codes and/or account codes, and maintain a history
as they change over time, enabling users to keep an accurate history of station assignment and ownership.
