TelSoft Solutions' University student billing software provides colleges and other educational facilities with
the capability to resell telephone services to students in a campus environment. All telephone call cost and other
related or unrelated charges are accounted for, including all balances and amounts paid or owed.
- Assign authorization codes automatically through a web interface.
View telephone bills online
- Post a "paperless bill" to an internal web site for viewing by faculty, staff, and students. Passwords
ensure only applicable data or portions of data are accessible.
- Set up an unlimited number of charging plans, and assign any station to any one of those user-defined plans,
so that different stations or authorization codes can be billed at different rates.
Assign credit limits to students telephone access
- Establish credit limits for each student's telephone charges. If budgetary allowances are exceeded, the system
restricts further calling through the PBX until additional budgets are approved, or the bill is paid - when the
class of service is returned to the normal calling privileges and outbound dialing capability is restored.
Bill for miscellaneous charges
- Versatile billing capability: Bill students or faculty for additional onetime and recurring charges, such as
parking fees, equipment charges, monthly service charge, voice mail, late payment fees, etc.
- Establish different pricing classes for different groups of users to allow profit management based on volume
phone usage, student rates, faculty usage, or any criteria you define. Cost and charge of telephone calls can highlight
savings, or charges alone can be printed.
- Billing periods are selectable. Accomodates monthly or staggered cyclical billing periods and can be set up
by group or individual.
- Customize page layout to add text messages or broadcast information
- Assign state, federal, and local taxes to telephone call and service charges.
- Through custom interface with the PBX and in-house computer systems, control of telephone usage can be fully
automated.
